Dopo gli studi in Teologia e Arti Sacre, apprende le tecniche dell’affresco tradizionale sotto la guida del maestro Dan Mihail Ivanovici, con cui realizzerà diversi cicli pittorici in chiese ortodosse. Trascorre diversi periodi in Italia, lavorando come iconografo e restauratore, per trasferirvisi definitivamente nel 2011.
Il maestro padroneggia svariate tecniche di decorazione, disegno e scultura, tra cui il mosaico, la doratura, la lavorazione di manufatti lapidei e lignei, l’affresco a calce viva o con pigmento a tuorlo d’uovo. Il suo talento e la sua esperienza gli permettono di andare oltre le regole della tradizione, introducendo nelle sue opere colori e composizioni originali. Il suo obiettivo è quello di realizzare un’arte “ecumenica”, ovvero inclusiva per tutta la comunità cristiana.
Tiene anche corsi d’affresco bizantino.
Iulian Rosu is a painter and decorator from Romania who works in Milan and throughout Italy.
After studying theology and sacred arts, he studied traditional fresco painting techniques under the guidance of Dan Mikhail Ivanovic, with whom he created several painting cycles in the Orthodox Church. He spent some time in Italy working as a budding scholar and restorer before moving there permanently in 2011.
Masters master a variety of decorating, painting and carving techniques such as mosaics, gilding, stone and woodwork processing, and frescoes using quicklime or egg yolk pigments. His talent and experience transcend the rules of tradition and bring original colors and compositions to his work. Its purpose is to create a "church-matching" art that encompasses the entire Christian community.
He also has a Byzantine fresco painting course.
Iulian Rosu est un peintre et décorateur d'origine roumaine, actif à Milan et dans toute l'Italie.
Après des études de théologie et d'arts sacrés, il apprend les techniques traditionnelles de la fresque sous la direction du maître Dan Mihail Ivanovici, avec qui il créera plusieurs cycles picturaux dans des églises orthodoxes. Il passe plusieurs séjours en Italie, travaillant comme iconographe et restaurateur, pour s'y installer définitivement en 2011.
Le maître maîtrise diverses techniques de décoration, de dessin et de sculpture, dont la mosaïque, la dorure, le traitement des objets en pierre et en bois, la fresque à la chaux vive ou au pigment de jaune d'œuf. Son talent et son expérience lui permettent de dépasser les règles de la tradition en introduisant dans ses œuvres des couleurs et des compositions originales. Son but est de créer un art « œcuménique », inclusif pour toute la communauté chrétienne.
Il donne également des cours de fresque byzantine.
Iulian Rosu ist ein Maler und Dekorateur rumänischer Herkunft, der in Mailand und ganz Italien tätig ist. Nach seinem Studium der Theologie und Sakralen Künste erlernte er traditionelle Freskentechniken unter der Anleitung von Meister Dan Mihail Ivanovici, mit dem er mehrere Bildzyklen in orthodoxen Kirchen schuf. Er verbrachte mehrere Zeiträume in Italien, wo er als Ikonograph und Restaurator arbeitete, um 2011 dauerhaft dorthin zu ziehen. Der Meister beherrscht verschiedene Techniken der Dekoration, Zeichnung und Bildhauerei, darunter Mosaik, Vergoldung, die Bearbeitung von Stein- und Holzartefakten, das Fresko mit Branntkalk oder mit Eigelbpigment. Sein Talent und seine Erfahrung ermöglichen es ihm, über die Regeln der Tradition hinauszugehen und originelle Farben und Kompositionen in seine Werke einzubringen. Ihr Ziel ist es, eine "ökumenische" Kunst zu schaffen, die die gesamte christliche Gemeinschaft einbezieht. Er hält auch byzantinische Freskenkurse.
